With new changes coming to effect from Monday I want to update you with the requirements for the Swimming Club.
We will not be changing from the entry and exit to the pool. Swimmers need to come ‘pool ready’ and we still won’t be using the changing rooms.
Temperatures will be taken but not recorded just so we can make sure we keep Covid safe.
As schools are closing, we are asking that all swimmers keep to their Lateral Flow test twice a week on a Sunday and a Wednesday. We need to be informed if anyone has a positive test so we can put into effect any required isolation and the result of the following PCR Test. If you can contact either myself, Judith Crook or Jane Hems-Gillisan we can then inform everyone. I will put the contact numbers into the document area of Team App.
The new Swimming Club policy will be that we are not going to have spectators on the poolside as we have found that the swimmers work better without distractions but we will be having open nights where parents can come and watch their child. We are lucky at the center that there is a large café area where you can sit and wait for your child which is more pleasant than being on poolside.
